Yes, that's right...A cuppa' two minute noodles is my secret craving through all those cold winter days and sleepless exam nights. It's something that mothers give their kids when they're too lazy to cook and students slurp throught their busy schedual, what would we do without it right? Well...I'm sure we would survive, but just i'm just going to add even more of a 'wow' effect to this post by showing off Japan's "Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum" located in Ikeda-Shi, Osaka.
The one of a kind interactive museum is really something special for ramen lovers and children as well, and if you can't speak japanese there's always an audio which is free with your deposit.
The museum shows a reconstructed shed where Momofuku Ando created the original Chicken Ramen in his Ikeda backyard in 1958. At the Cup Noodle Drama Theater, there's an entertaining animation awaiting you on the invention of the portable meal which is now slurped all around the world.

Once you've glanced through the
Instant Ramen Tunnel and soaked up all the instant ramen info you possibly can,
it's time to create a custom made Cup of Noodles! With so many powdered broths
and toppings to choose from, this really is Ramen heaven...

Oh..and there's more, you can learn to stretch, knead, cut and finally taste homemade ramen noodles at a hands-on workshop, held on the second floor five days a week. There's a tasting room open every day, featuring ramen-stocked vending machines and seating, perfect for those emergency Cup Noodle cravings.
i know that craving!!
ReplyDeleteHow cool!
ReplyDeleteThere used to be little single purpose museums like this (not as nice of course) all over the United States. Nearly all gone I'm sorry to say.
